Travel bursary

We believe that travel can provide valuable opportunities, and we are committed to helping students make the most of their SPJ London experience.

To assist with this, we will offer travel bursaries of £4000 to applicants from the UK who study one semester abroad. The bursary is intended to cover travel and living costs.

Payment timeline

Home students who have applied for a student loan must provide proof of their loan to be admitted. The School will claim the fees from the Student Loan Company.

International students are required to make an upfront payment of £10,000 to receive a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) to be issued a visa. The remaining balance must be paid before the start of the second semester. Students who pay their fees in full upfront are eligible for a discount. The fees for the following years should be paid in two instalments, due at the start of each semester.

The payment of fees is in accordance with the School's Tuition Fee Policy.

Notes:

  • All airfares are to be borne by the students.
  • Failure to make the fee payment may result in the cancellation of admission.
  • Every student is required to have a personal laptop that meets the specifications provided by the School. These specifications will be sent to students at the time of admission. Students are responsible for purchasing their own laptops.

BDS scholarships

We are committed to empowering and supporting outstanding students to achieve their full potential. To help them excel in their academic pursuits and future career paths, we are thrilled to offer a range of scholarships to deserving candidates enrolling in our BDS programme. Guidelines are that scholarships:

  • are granted through a candidate-specific review process.
  • are tuition fees only. In rare cases, scholarships may be offered for housing fees.
  • do not cover visa fees, insurance, course materials, living costs or incidental expenses.
  • will be conditional on achieving the scores mentioned in the offer letter.
  • maintaining scholarships are contingent on the attendance & monitoring policy. (Read here)
  • Students who exceed our minimum entry requirements may be entitled to a scholarship. The amount of scholarship is determined by the applicant’s application, academic grades and admissions interview.
  • Scholarships can be up to 100% of tuition based on a candidate’s academic performance and interview.
  • Outstanding achievements in sports, social service or extracurricular activities at a national or international level will also be considered.
  • Candidates from underrepresented countries or regions who we believe will make valuable contributions to the global learning experience at SPJ London.

How to apply for a scholarship

You must request to apply for a scholarship. The sooner an application is made, the greater the chance of receiving a scholarship.

If you are applying through UCAS, you need to apply separately by submitting a personal statement (maximum 1,000 words) setting out why you qualify for a scholarship and how you will benefit.

If you apply online directly through SPJ London, tick the scholarship box on the online application. In your personal statement, you must outline why you should be considered for financial assistance.

Scholarship requests can be sent by email to enquiries@spjain.ac.uk
