While the programme is based in London, you can opt for a study term at the Dubai campus of our exchange partner, SP Jain Global. If you prefer to stay in London, the option to complete all terms there is also available.
Travel bursaries for UK students
We believe that travel can provide valuable opportunities, and we are committed to helping students make the most of their SPJ London experience. To assist with this, we will offer travel bursaries of £4,000 to applicants from the UK who opt to undertake a term in Dubai. The bursary is intended to cover travel and living costs.
Deeply rooted in business fundamentals, our Global MBA programme emphasises practical skills application. From day one, you will participate in boardroom and business simulations, facing real-time business challenges, solving problems, exploring new approaches to leadership and decision-making and creating value in a fast-paced, disruptive digital environment.
Our programme takes a practical approach to learning by integrating student boardrooms and business simulations into the curriculum from day one. These activities will expose you to real-time business challenges, allowing you to develop critical problem-solving skills and explore new approaches to leadership and decision-making. You will learn to create value in a fast-paced and disruptive digital environment, which is increasingly becoming the norm in the business world.
Our programme also provides hands-on learning through optional internships*(we do not guarantee internships) and consulting projects. We believe that this combination of theory and practical application is essential for developing well-rounded business leaders equipped to handle the challenges of an uncertain world.
SPJ London’s Global MBA curriculum provides a flexible, personalised approach to learning and is designed for maximum career impact. While the initial term builds a strong foundation in business fundamentals, later terms offer course customisation. As a Global MBA student at SPJ London, you can expect a higher level of engagement with the curriculum, with 18 contact hours per week, compared to the average of 12 hours per week in UK business schools.
Our Global MBA programme provides you with the opportunity to undertake a four-month internship at a location of your choice. This offers you the chance to apply your skills in a business setting and supplement your academic accomplishments with real-world experiences. You will make meaningful contributions to companies, build strong professional contacts and explore full-time career opportunities.
Note: We will offer internship support in London, but we can’t guarantee internships as they are subject to prevailing labour laws in London.
Our Global MBA programme offers you the opportunity to gain practical experience and enhance your career prospects while working alongside experienced professionals in the field.
During the four-month optional internship*, which may be done at any location, you will have the chance to work on challenging projects and make meaningful contributions to companies. You will gain exposure to different business practices, industries and cultures. You will develop a deeper understanding of the workplace and acquire valuable insights into the demands of the global economy.
Students are coached during their internship* by a corporate mentor and an academic mentor. This collaborative effort ensures that students receive personalised guidance and support throughout their internship*, resulting in a high-quality work-integrated learning experience.
In addition, the internship* provides an opportunity to build a strong network of professional contacts, which can be beneficial when seeking full-time career opportunities after graduation.
Note: Our Career Services Office will provide assistance in securing internships, which may potentially lead to full-time employment opportunities. However, this is not a guaranteed outcome of the program, and the availability of internship opportunities depends on various factors, including prevailing labour laws.
